A Private Heaven is the fifth full-length studio album by Sheena Easton.

The album contained the track Sugar Walls, written by Prince under the pseudonym Alexander Nevermind, and was a conscious effort to move Sheena Easton away from her 'innocent' image and to show her in a more sexual way.

Sessions and compiling

Prince's contribution, Sugar Walls, was recorded in late January or February 1984.

Promotion

The album produced five singles, Back In The City, Strut, Sugar Walls, Swear and Hungry Eyes (released in Japan only).

It reached number 15 on the US Billboard 200 Chart, and number 26 on the Billboard Soul LP's Chart.
